VOLUNTEERS

Student Roles

At Talk Counselling we are constantly growing as we continue to expand nationwide and beyond. Our services are used throughout the UK and for this reason we are constantly recruiting volunteers and staff to join our team.

If you are a student and would like to be part of an established and growing team then Talk Counselling is the place for you. We provide students with the opportunity to fulfil the necessary hours needed for their course. We also provide your DBS if you do not currently have one. We have in house supervisors, which students can utilize.

Students will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of clients due to our diverse range of referrals and therefore be able to learn about and practice various counselling modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Existential and much more.

We provide online and in house CPD training for all volunteers. We believe in continued growth and development and encourage all who are part of Talk Counselling to take part in Continued Professional Development.

Non Student Roles

The volunteer roles we provide are not just for students, we welcome applications from individuals with skills and knowledge in metal health and wellbeing. As an increasing team we always encourage individuals to join our team of facilitators and mentors. We have various roles available for those who would like to give back to the community and help support those utilising our services.
